2003 Rover 25 Impression In Royal Blue
Was my first ever car 2 years ago, and was a project to try and save it from the scrap man. I managed to get the mechanicals sorted, but due to ill health over christmas I can no longer finish off what I started.
What I've done:
Added Fog lights
Fixed the rear washer
New heater resistor pack
New pollen filter
New wiper blades
New radiator
New rocker cover gasket
New head gasket
New battery
New alternator regulator
New windscreen
New sunroof
New Cambelt/Water pump
New numberplates
Intermediate service, including new CV Joints
GTi interior
Rover 45 throttle body
New passenger wing mirror
2 new rear tires
Resprayed door strips matt black
What needs to be done:
New sunroof seals (desperately needed, as water is getting in to the passenger footwell at quite an alarming rate
Dent in the passengers door (tried to get a replacement in the correct color on Ebay - no luck)
Various dings and scrapes here and there.
Hydraulic tappets noisy when cold, but quiet once warmed up
MOT (has about a month left)
Mileage states about 29k on the clock, however previous owner changed the clocks @ about 30k, so it's nearer 60k.
Alarm works, but no sound.
I paid 500 quid for it 2 years ago, but owing to the amount of work I've done to it since then, I'm loathed to let the scrap man have it for 60, so I'm hoping somebody on here would be willing to take it off my hands. I have nearly all of the receipts for the work carried out apart from the alternator regulator (I was sent an electronic receipt, but like a prize plum I accidentally deleted it.)
I'm hoping for offers in the region of about £200ono.
