ZS starts but dies :(
Hi all - classed as a Newbie here but was a member a while ago just forgot my username etc....
So my ZS 120 starts but dies soon after. It took bad last week, it was stalling, hunting, generally a pig to drive after a very cold night. Called breakdown as was 250 miles from home and after a while they disconnected MAP sensor and it idled sweetly then I drove home, not very driveable but it got there using a lot of fuel.
Since then it refuses to idle, starts, ticks over for about 2 seconds then dies, even if I press accelerator which makes little difference.
Have replaced MAP sensor and Crank Position Sensor so far. Definitely getting fuel and spark because it starts fine (just won't continue!).
Have had Throttle Position Sensor off and cleaned, have had Idle Air Control Valve off and cleaned, have had Camshaft Position Sensor off and cleaned too. Checked all wiring, cleaned all connectors.
Any bright ideas out there - not sure what to do next to be honest!, apart from having a cappuccino and Baileys right now.
I have searched and read a lot of threads on here re similar symptoms, have taken and used a lot of advice from those, but still stuck.
Thanks, Neil.
