brake caliper differences?
I recently bought some ZS180 rear calipers but I've only just noticed when having a proper look at them that they're slightly different left to right, they're the same size, the carriers are identical but the caliper itself is slightly different. It's barely noticeable but there is a slight difference.
The bit where the handbrake cable attaches to looks a little different, and a few other minor differences in shape that you only notice when looking at them closely.
One looks a lot newer than the other - which makes me think one is just a generic replacement part rather than OEM, I know it's not uncommon for these rear calipers to seize so that's understandable if it's been replaced.
Another thing that makes me thing the caliper is a non OEM replacement part is the carriers are identical to look at, they're equally dirty so it looks to me as though just the caliper has been changed.
