Complete power failure... Ideas?

Replaced the exhaust today (if it has anything remotely to do with this).



Driving the girlfriend home tonight, when the ABS light came on, followed by the SRS light shortly after.



Pulled over and turned the car off. Checked under the hood at the battery terminals / alternator etc. Nothing obvious.



Tried to start but everything on the dash was flashing and beeping and the engine wouldn't turn over (just nasty clicking from starter motor).



Waited longer, managed to start while pumping the pedal. Took her (girlfriend) the rest of the way home (2 streets), and lights came back on, couldn't indicate, lights went very dim. Pulled over and got towed home.

1. Battery is very new, replaced it November last year.


2. Checked the battery voltage before being towed and it showed 12.4v (engine off).


3. Terminals looked clean.


4. Recently took all the belts off to look for problems with something else


5. Literally have just replaced the exhaust system.

Brother is the mechanic, and has some rough ideas but not much time to look, me, has no idea.
