DD Mk1 Exhaust

The TT 7 Mk1 I have had issues.. It blows out of one pipe only and sticks out further one side than the other.. (about 3/4")

So its going to Tina (Freestyle) after only 600 miles of use..

So.. As I plan to drive my car on euro trips I want an exhaust which is both loud.. and quiet..

Is that even possible?

Well.. After loads of researching on the net Ive designed (reads badly drawn) and exhaust back box which I think.. if it can be built.. will do the trick

Drive all the way to the south of Spain with the car as quiet as an OME TF in the 'economy map'...

Then select 'race' on the steering wheel dial (changes engine mapping not just exhaust) and the car sounds like a proper sports car.. loud.. popping.. burbling..

Im currently talking to the nice people at MIJ to see if its possible..

One huge advantage is.. this one will have a warranty.. and will be build in the UK.. and wont go rusty

I have no interest in supplying to others.. but if it works.. im sure MIJ would make/supply to other owners who wanted the same/similar..

When Andy Watson had his de-cat TT7 on I followed him on the motorway for a lot of miles.. I couldnt even have the stereo on as his exhaust just droned a horrible noise..

The Daytonas Ive heard sound superb.. but too loud for a 'cruise' down to Spain

Brian's MIJ exhaust sounds dead quiet until provoked...
