My New TF Wont Start...Any Ideas Please

Well only had the car a short while (less than 500 miles) and my TF wont start! The key fob wont open the car, tried resetting key 4 timmes, it locks the car but will not open it. Also the car wont start. Tried disconnecting battery, changing key fob batteries (on both as the spare doesn't work either) The dash lights all flicker when trying to start up but nothing else.

Anyone got any ideas?

Also does anyone know a mechanic in Shrewsbury / N Shropshire area thats good with MG's?
