Overboosting

Noticed that since my remap the car is overboosting to 22psi, which is probably caused by the extra fuel etc. i've seen it mentioned that the car actually loses power over say 19 psi, how much truth is in this and how much power would i realistically be losing? And before its mentioned i know the dangers of the overboosting, i'm gonna sort it out in the day light.
