Another MOT fail thread
Sorry, but just come back from the MOT station with a Refusal of MOT certificate.
Handbrake 8% efficient. one calliper totally siezed and the other not much better :(
In all fairness I knew it was going to fail on that.
Nearside front upper suspension ball joint dust cover excesively damaged :X
Registration plate lamp not working. It bloody was when I left home :X
Had to work hard to get the emissions passed but fair play to the tester he didnt just fail it on the first run like some places do.
Couple of advisories, both rear upper ball joints have slight play in them (he called over a collegue who couldnt detect any play!)
So, not horrendous but I was not expecting the front ball joint.
Will be studying CJJ's how to guides this weekend.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some decent rear callipers and ball joints that wont cost the earth?
Cheers
