mg zt 2.5 v6 wont start

My car suddenly stopped a couple of weeks ago so i had it recovered to my mates garage and after researching it on here it looked like it was FFS so i ordered a orange clip

Orange clip was fitted and still no fuel to engine so next step was ordering a pump.

Pump fitted and still no pressure/fuel to engine so what i am wondering is if there is any chance my mechanic might not have put the fuel filter housing back together properly or is there any other problem it could be?

He has mentioned the throttle body or cam/crank sensors but research doesn't point to them being the culprits.

Does anyone have a step by step guide or pics to putting the filter back?

Any help would be much appreciated as my baby as been out of action for 2 weeks now and i miss her.
