MGF Back on the road after 7 months Any tips?

We got our MGF MOt'd and serviced last September and for one reason or another it lay unused until last weekend. I took the battery off re-charged it put it back on and the car burst into life!

This car used to be a toy but we have decided to use it for a short commute each day, apart from tyre pressure is there anything else I should be checking or changing?
