turbo whistel/spool up

Hi All



I have a mg zs td which is decated, straight through exhaust (no boxes) and an open air filter. I have never heard the turbo whistle or spool. I had a 306 dturbo with the same spec and it used to hear the turbo all the time. Can other people hear the turbo spool/whistle on their l-series?
