Gear shift shim for tightening up cross movement in gear shift
Someone messaged me today about this and I accidentally deleted the message, so I can't reply direct to him, and I cannot find the thread we were discussing it in. I am very sorry.

The shim is the little piece folded over almost in the middle of the picture, separating the nylon from the gear shift's casing:
and a top view:
I used 0.7mm steel from a very expensive tin of biscuits, and is held in place by the crimping of folding it over and some 2 pack epoxy.
