have i burnt out a relay in my SCU? to do with the central locking, TECHNOZEN - HELP?

hi lads,

i have recently had trubble with my rover streetwise 53 plate 1.4 petrol with the central locking,

to cut a long story short i re-aligned the tailgate on the car diddent think no more of it untill i pressed my key fob to lock the car and it poped the 25 amp fuse under the bonnet, i replaced it with another and it went pop again, so after running out of 25 amp fuses i used a 30 amp (yes i know i shouldent have! lol) and pop again!

so i checked my wireing on the tailgate as you guys have said on here, to find that neer enuf all the wires were bare and broken etc, i repared all of these today,

the car will lock on the key fob but will not unlock on the key fob although the fob does take the alarm off as the indicators flash when i press the fob to UNLOCK,

to get in the car i have to manually unlock the drivers door by putting the key in the lock, the passenger side door is totally deadlocked!

SO all i can think is - could i have burnt out the relay in the SCU that controlls the central locking as the car still starts and drives perfect?



if so can i just unpick a relay from another scrap rover which we have in our scrap yard (same year etc) and re solder it into my SCU to try that?



ANY IDEAS WELCOME, OR ANY WIREING DIAGRAMS OF THE CENTRAL LOCKING SYSTEM OR IF ANYONE CAN PUT ME INTOUCH WITH TECHNOZEN I WILL BE SO GREATFULL!
