Rover owners: MG ZR+ 105 Mk2

MG ZR+ 105, 1.4, 88,000 miles (will go up as used daily). 2005 (54 Plate), Mk2 facelift model. Ignition Blue (JGY paint code). Never had any serious problems with it. Bought the car in 2012 from a dealership. Unknown to the dealer it came with headgasket failure, but this was fixed under warranty as well as replacing the thermostat and waterpump.

Can't fault the car in terms of driving. Pulls and goes well for a 1.4 engine. Done many long distance journeys (520 mile round trips to London, 260 mile round trips to Newcastle etc.) and couldn't fault the car once on any journey. Temperature sits perfectly, coolant stays nice and clean with no loss of it whatsoever. No oil leaks (running Castrol Magnatec 10w40 semi).

16" alloys sprayed in anthracite grey (starting to flake slightly, nothing too bad though)

Bad points:

Few age related marks in the paintwork, but nothing too noticeable unless properly looking for them. Front bumper has a few scratches (as seen in 4th photo)

Front tyres had an MOT advisory

Engine sounds tappety when cold, but this clears up quickly once it warms up a bit.

Driver's door doesn't lock with the fob. Need to use the key to lock it. Because of this, to unlock the passenger door after driving (doors lock automatically after driving faster than 5mph) the engine needs to be turned off. Think the driver side door lock motor just needs replacing.

Comes with two keys, but only one remote fob.

Driver seat bolster has wear on it. Common problem on the seats.

No bulbs in front fogs. Had the car 18 months and never bothered with them.
