Routing Electrical Wires from Rear to Engine Compartment
Hi Gents,
I want to fit a solar panel to my Rover 75CDT to keep the battery topped up when I am not using it. It is going flat because of lack of use.
The ideal location for the solar panel is the shelf behind the rear seats.
Can anybody advise me on the best way to run a wire back from the solar panel to the battery? Do I need to drill? if so where should I drill?
Also I want to include a relay so when the car is started the solar panel is disconnected. Any help to identify the correct circuit (post ignition switch) to use on the coil side of the relay would also be appreciated.
Best Regards
Richard
