Tips for fitting a new roof.

So I have ordered the new roof, and now I'm getting all of the gear in place so that I'm ready to go ahead and fit it.



I've read through a couple of how to's and I want to make sure I get the right materials. I ordered some rivets and they arrived this morning but they look way too big. They are 4.0 x 1.6 cm. I could be wrong though. So any suggestions or reassurance would be welcome.



And I've yet to get any glue or adhesive, which is best to use?



It's looking like it's going to be a dry weekend here, and have a couple of willing friends to lend a hand so as long as the hood arrives in time I would love to be able to get this done.
