zs door hadle fix

Hi all name is Steve and i am new to the forum and have an issue with my newly acquired zs180.



A heavy handed relative has pulled the door handle of the rear of my car, i was not happy, so i proceeded to strip the door card off undone the linkage, used chemical metal to fix the weak point around the brass riv nut and then the fun starts.



Firstly how are you supposed to fit the metal handle back plate and line up the nuts with the door handle?



on top of this how do you guys get access to the back most bolt? is it a case of unscrewing the lock mechanism, and then undoing the linkages enough to get a socket through?



If anyone has a guide or advise to my problems above i would very much appreciate it.



I have seen the post on the xpower forum but prefer this place as my new home.



Also if anyone is interested here is a pic of my new car, it is a superb drive and im well chuffed with her. 2 previous owners one being longbridge (company car to finance director) and a work colleague who had her from a year old.
