Air filter kits

Hi,

Attched is a pic of the air filter that was on the car when we got it a few weeks ago. Not the best thing in the world, shall we say!

I want to swap this out for something that works properly. Could I ask for good recommendations, and perhaps ones (or set ups) to stay away from?
