Another new one

Just bought a mg zr well I swapped it for my old vectra gsi what was knackered but the mg needs a new hg if course lol but what I was thinking would it be a lot easier if I just put another engine in coz there is no history or anything with the mg and iv been offered a very low mileage engine from a rover 45 so will it fit
