Chinese Sat. Navs.

My old Garmin is 7 years old with dated maps & takes a long time to get going.

So I bought a Chinese made one off ebay, with European mapping for £37.

Off on my hols. to Germany it decided it didn't like talking to me 10 miles out of Dunkirk & then shut down completely.

As I didn't bother taking any good maps I found myself taking a scenic tour of Brussels & other detours on the way to the moselle valley.

Added about 90 mins. to my journey time!

Moral - buy a decent make.

The good thing was my "F" kept at 80/85mph most of the way with no probs.

Also it was over 80 degrees here today.
