Clutch slave / pedal sticking down
Morning all,
I realise that there are numerous posts on this, but I am still a little confused by it.
On Monday this week pulled up out side my house and clutch stuck to the floor whilst trying to get it in reverse, I managed to switch the engine off and flick the pedal back up. Tried to put it in first and it did the same, second time I got it in. So been setting of in 2nd and not depressing the clutch fully which seems to help, only seems to be sticking often in 1st and reverse. Its a right pig to drive at the moment though.
So this morning I got under the car, friend in front pressing pedal down and I noticed some flexing in the cylinder. And the cylinder only has 10mm of travel roughly. Do you think this is where the problem is? should I get bracket stiffened up and lube clutch arm? there are no other noises etc coming from the clutch, clutch is not slipping etc.
