Digimafam

Hi a small problem on my mg zs diesel my maf seems to be playing up, i have the usual maf problems slow acceleration and when i unplug the maf its fine, the problem is a have a digimafam and when i plug it in i still have the poor acceleration, i thought the digimafam would still work even if the maf was buggered???
