front brake pads

Bought some front EBC brake pads from EBay, arrived today. They are EBC ultimax 2 ... But then says Ap Racing ... And they are big ... I'm guessing I bought the wrong ones for my bog standard F?? :( if so I have a set up for grabs and need to buy a proper set!!
