Funny smell

having recently got a ztt it was time to say goodbye to the 75 I rescued from the garage in the sky and sold it on.

the zt is in great condition and when purchased I new that there was a small leak from the headgasket as the telltale staining was visible and there was a whiff of antifreeze around the car I had the head pressure tested and skimmed along with fitting a MLHG. I was suprised that after takeing the car on a 300mile run today when finally parking up the aroma around the car was deffo of the antifreeze type yet no water is being lost??? but stopping for lunch earlier there was no smell noticeable

anybody got any ideas
