Key fob replacement

Hi everyone just after a bit of help. I've just bought another mg zr 05 plate and it's come with one key and fob but the open and unlock button on fob is in really bad condition. Anyone no if I bought another fob off eBay and took it part would I be able change the rubber bit that covers the open/unlock press button. Thanks in advance :)
