mot failed on split cv boot- cant undo nut to fix it!

hey all,

failed my mot today for a split o/s/r cv boot. not a problem ordinarily, but when the garage came to take off the hub nut, they found it was seized on.



they tried heating it, using a massive bar, an air gun etc, but still nothing.

have left it with them to sort out.



other than that though, it went alright. the underside wasnt anywhere near as bad as i was thinking it was going to be (lowered, and i live near speedbumps which hit the underside quite loud), and confirmed the car does have the SS coolant pipes.



hopefully i get a call tomorrow saying theyve done it. if not, not really sure what im going to do. will probably buy a new hub/driveshaft and cut the old driveshaft off or something.
