Tight Bolts

While at MG90 I thought Id treat the TF to a bit more bling so bought a chrome bonnet catch from MGFnTFBITZ. (Top half with the spring - I already did the bottom bit).



Nothing wrong with the new bits but can I undo the old bolts - well no way without maybe breaking something.



The bolts are only 10mm, no sign of rust - they both undo about 2 turns then get tight to the point that if I try any harder with my big socket set I might snap something - and both are the same.



Do these bolts go up into captive nuts ?



Has anyone else had the same issue ?



I just did them back up and left them for now.
