Trouble starting my 114gsi

I am having trouble starting my 114GSI, I have a great spark but after turning over the engine a few times there is no fuel on the plugs, I have squirted carb cleaner into the air filter and it fires but will not keep running. I have reset the fuel cutout and still no joy, I have sat in the car and when I turn the ignition on I cannot hear the pump prime, I have checked all the fuses and they are OK, is there any more checks I can carry out to get the pump to kick in.
