Under floor coolany pipe leak
Hi all,
I recently had my underfloor pipes replaced for stainless, but have a slight leak.
Where the rubber and stainless steel pipes meet at the engine end, one of the spring clips doesnt seem to be gripping enough and allowing a small amount of coolant through.
My question is, do you think I can add a jubilee clip (40mm I believe) as well as the spring clip to fix this? There seems to be enough stainlees and rubber pipe to get a good seal.
Releasing the spring clip a small amount leads to gushing coolant, and I do not feel competent enough to disconnect and replace all coolant should it need it!
Thanks
