Changed my PCV filter
Yesterday it was so hot that I put the hedge cutting on hold and changed my PCV filter instead!
I used the very helpful guide written by Arctic on the other side and start to finish was not much more than half an hour. It came out with no problem and the fuel lines remained undisturbed.
While I was tinkering, I took the inlet off and gave it all a good Jizering. There were chunks of stuff coming out of the inlet. Handily I had a thin stiff brush on a long handle which fitted inside nicely.
Its all filthy work being a diesel of course, but tick over is much smoother and the engine is quieter too.
Very pleased with my efforts for the sake of a couple of hours.
