Clutch? Cylinder? Wallet?

Hi guys, last week went to pull off and my clutch slipped, only once then drove fine,,,,,until today! doing a maneuver in a tight space went to release clutch car stalled clutch pedal stayed on the carpet, pulled pedal up manually re started car did it again. after two attempts it ran ok for a few hours then on the stratford road lights same again.. what do you reckon guys and what will it cost?? rover 45 impression s 1.6 16v y2000 thanks.
