Rover owners: Rover Metro Rio Grande 1.1

We have loved this car but it has had its time. It needs a new front screen and the exhaust is blowing. Th MOT has now run out but last year it passed with no advisories and has four decent cooper tyres on which will last ages.

This is a non catalyst carburettor version with the 1.1ltr engine. This runs like a dream and has not overheated and needs no oil between changes.

The central locking works too.

It would make a good donor car for a 1.1 k series engine or, as i would love to do, turn it into a track day car.

The price is £100. I could get this at the scrappy but would rather this reliable family friend had a better end of life.
