About to buy a TF 135
First post and looking for advise
Just had a drive in an 02 plate TF 135 with only 19000 miles on the clock, 9000 of that was spent registered to an MG dealer who had it for 9 years, and then only one subsequent owner. Full service history. The cam belt was changed at 16000 miles in 2011, but the head gasket is original. Engine compartment is very clean. Drives well, stops well (no ABS). Very clean underneath. Spotless on the outside. Only niggle is the dash cover over the instruments is rattling.
Should I be seriously negotiating to cover the replacement of head gasket/water pump etc, and should I be concerned that it seems to have spent a lot of its life off the road
I would appreciate some feedback.
