Alternator removal

Hi Guys.

!997 MGf With Aicon.I need to remove the Alternator.At the point where I have removed the top mounting bolt Having trouble removing the bottom bolt.

Can any one tell me if this bolt goes thru the mounting bracket with a nut on the other end if so what size is this nut.very difficult to see. If not is it a bolt that is threaded into the mounting brkt.I can move the bolt some what but it feels like it has a nut and the whole thing is turning with out undoing

I am concerned somthing is going to snap.
