Coolant leak.

Seems to be quite alot going wrong with my car at late :@ This has been going on for a couple of month and i want to get it sorted.

I'm having to top my coolant up every week or so. Haven't a clue were it is leaking checked the pipes going down to the radiator and not signs of leakage. I went out to my car earlier today after about two hours after i've used it and poped the bonnet up and hear a slight hissing noise like you get from a bottle of pop and it was coming from the coolant tank (not sure if that normal) once i took the lid off it stopped. I'm thinking of changing the manifold gasket is this the item i need ?

Also my temp gague on my dash stays half way once the car has warmed up is this normal?
