installing instrument surrounds

Hi all



having trouble installing the instrument surrounds as cant get the cluster out. Have unscrewed it all and can move it just doesnt seem to be the space to take it out. Is there a way I can remove the clear plastic infront of the speedo etc without taking the cluster out? Cant see how it unclips and just pulling isnt working.

Would also rather not have to start unclipping the wires as from what I have read it's a lot by feel and am not confident in that.

TL;DR how do i get the clear plastic off the intrument panel without fully removing the cluster?
