Engine problem

Hi guys in need if some help

Iv got a 25 commerce van it's a long story but first time I drove her properly I went down to Kent from North London (around 110 miles) to see some family drove lovely all the way there went to leave and alternator belt went so had it replaced at a garage drove all the way home no problems next day jumped in her started up as normal got around my block and she cut out no knocks bangs or noises of any kind and wouldn't start again and now there smoke coming out of the back when you turn her over she has fuel as I cracked off a injector pipe and cranked it could the cam belt have slipped ?a friend of mind also said the l series suffer with crank pulley problems of some kind is this true ? Any help would be much appreciated as I have run out of ideas thanks in advance guys sorry to ramble on
