Hello from Northern Ireland folks.



I've been a long time lurker as a guest on this site so decided the other day to actually get round to registering.



I currently am running a Pearl Black MG ZR 105 as my daily rag and which I bought new as a pre-registered motor back in 2004. No on just shy of 140k she has given me fantastic service, with only the general service items being needed. Timing belt was changed as per the recommended mileage, which coincided with very slight weepage from the head gasket. This was replaced with the new reinforced type and has never looked back.



I have upgraded the car slightly over the years with mainly MG or XPower part number items;



- black magic taillamps

- wheel arch extensions

- X Power throughflow exhaust system (cat back)

- front fogs

- alloy trim on bumper for exhaust

- chromed mirror caps



and also replaced the interior with that from a Rover Streetwise (rear twin seat model).



My passion (probably obsession is more accurate!) is the Classic Mini and have lost count of how many I've owned, with a 64 Morris Mini Traveller and Mk1 replica rally car currently in the garage. Oh - and an Oselli tuned 1972 MGB GT.



I am thinking of replacing the ZR with a TF and currently on the lookout for a nice clean local NI car.



By the way - great site with plenty of awesome tips and info - been a help on a number of occasions.
