Rover owners: lower suspension bushes

well i managed to change the front lower suspension arm bushes on my daughters car without to much trouble without a press, the only hassle i had was the motor factors lol.

i had rhe ZS xhecked for MOT, there was to much play with the inner bushes. i called motor factors who told me they had 1 on the shelf and could get another in monday morning. as i had a free afternoon sunday i removed the passenger side suspenion to inspect the lower arm, the state of the inner bush was shocking, the outer looked ok but on closer inspection i could see daylight between metal and rubber.

on to monday, called factors early to order 2 outer bushes and was informed they would be in for 11.00 am. here,s where things start to go wrong. they had sold the 1 off the shelf saturday and could only find 1 out of the other 3 bushes, so i told them where to put that lol.

on the way home i called to another factors, they had 2 inner bushes and could get the outers next morning, Hmm sounds familiar. back to them tuesday for 11, not in yet come back at 12, which i did and picked those up. get out to the shed to fit bushes, oh dear 2 packs with same number but different bushes in them. carl them ro inform them and they say will have correct bush for 2.30. back down to them 15 miles and you guessed it wasnt in so i had to call back again this morning when i finally got the 4th and final bush.

is it me or does anyone else have this sort of luck lol.
