No Sound from Speakers

As I was driving the sound from my speakers began occasionally cutting out for longer intervals until no sound came through any speaker.



The head unit still has power and a separate system did not fix this so it's not the head unit.



I don't know much about the wiring so I'm reluctant to start taking my interior apart without any advice as to what might be wrong.



I assume that since it's all cutting out it must be a lose connection close to the head unit before it splits off? Like I said, I don't know much about the wiring. The attachment to the head unit was a little lose so I changed it, this didn't make a difference either.
