OBD Reader Wont Connect To ECU - SOLVED

Sorry for another post.



Got the MIL on Sunday. I had an OBD reader before which worked an absolute charm, but it died after nearly two years of usage.



Another arrived today. It's a much better one. Or so I think.



So if I plug it in, it powers up, connects to my phone, but wont connect to the ECU.



Why is this? If its powering up, it has an ECU light that blinks once or twice....but it just wont connect!



Any ideas? Dont really want to have to go to a garage and pay for someone to do what I have here already!
