Cruise control is not working - how to diagnose?

Hi,



Has anybody got any ideas how to diagnose why the cruise control is not working? If I press the master switch, the cruise control light comes on, but then pressing the buttons on the steering wheel doesn't do anything. I've checked all the fuses in the footwell fuse box and they're all fine. Not sure where to go from here?
