Confused Land Rover?

OK So we have got new pictures of the new Discovery Sport to Replace the Freelander.



While I don't dislike it I am a bit confused at Land Rovers direction.



I thought that Land Rover and Range Rover were meant to become 2 distinct brands, yet they have given this a front end very similar to an Evoque.
