Hazard light problems

Hi can anyone help I have a rover mg zr 2001 plate and have a problem with the rear lights.

I have only just noticed tonight that when I lock my car the front n side indicators flash as normal, but the back don't n get the side brake lights plus the 3rd brake light i.e spoiler flashing instead. When I put the hazards on this happens plus the fog light switch for the rear flash too. I have changed the back lights to a set of tinted lexus lights but never know if it was the same before as the car has been a project since I got it. The front indicators work ok. It's when I look at the nearside rear indicator the offside rear brake light partly flash as much as the main indicator bulb. Can anyone please help?
