One less Rover unless saved!!

I have finally taken the decision that my faithful 218 SLD has passed its useful life and is destined for the local scrap yard in the near future. At 220k miles the bodywork is pretty rough and my daughter, who has been using it for the last 4 years, has finally bought her own car.

If any one wants to save it, and I am promoting it as scrap, then it needs a VIC check (written off in 2007 for very minor damage due to the mileage at the time been classed as high 157k) and the local scrap man has offered me 110 quid.

I intend to remove the good tyres and fit to my R25, I deliberately had the same tyres fitted as per my 25 last time I had them renewed, so I could do this knowing its days were numbered and not wanting to scrap good tyres

It is still taxed, mot(ed) and insured, mechanically it seems (and has proven thus far) un-burstable.

I don't care whether any one has it or not, I am not advertising on EBAY or anywhere else because I don't intend to profit out of the sale. I want scrap value only plus someone will have to pay for the VIC if they want the car.

I have owned the car for 12 years.
