Temporary fix boost leak

Hi all,

I have a boost leak on the turbo reducer pipe. The little pipe. It has a 2 cm rip or almost an inch.

Now I have ordered my new part, but it will take almost a month or maybe more before it will get here. They have to produce it and then send it and they tell me there is always a delay of 2-4 weeks.

I have tried to temporary fix the boost leak by using instant glue on it, and then with a bicycle patch (saw it on this forum). But it only lasted for a good day and never went full boost or full throttle. Maybe I didn't do the bike patch very well, but I will try it again tomorrow. But I think the pipe there takes a lot of abuse too since its a reducer.

I know there is no good fix for this, but if anyone has a recommendation for a temporary fix I will be happy to hear it.

Also a side question. Should I avoid driving with the car or does it just give a massive performance drop without real consequences? I try and avoid using the car, but sometimes I have no other option.

Thanks in advance.
