would you risk it ?

Hi all , as a long time 75 owner I fancy an mgf as a second car, I have the chance of a nice one at a decent price , the only trouble is it has only covered a few miles in the last couple of years going too and from the MOT station , as I would have to drive it at least 350 miles to get it home , do you think it would be a risk to do this after such a long lay off ? .
