EPAS Fuse question
Hi all,
In my 1999 MGF 1.8i the power steering light on the dash was coming on intermittently (with loss of power steering). I took the 40amp fuse out of the white under bonnet fuse box and gave it a clean & replaced it and now the light is on permanently. When I start the car there is a series of clicking noises (which I think is the Unit working out if it has connections to various things?)
Bizarrely, if I have the engine running and take the fuse out and replace it, the light goes off, and power steering works until the next day.
Any Ideas? is it simply a fuse change or something more technical (changing the ECU?)
Thanks in advance.
Matt.
