head cracked ?And front struts touching?
So i bought a mg 1.4zr with 71k on 4 days ago all was fine been running it around and the temperature is fine. Today i had a family member wanting to look at the car we checked the water befor staring and i noticed it has gone from max to in between min and max we started the car and all was fine in till we looked under the car for rust the temperature showed nothing due it being a cold start we noticed a leak of water there was water on the back of the head ontop of the inlet inlet manifold but not much. I checked near the crack and looked at that side of the engine and it was bone dry so it looks like the leak was coming from ether the back of the head ? Or a pipe at the back of the head. After we looked and could not find were the leak was coming from we checked the temperature which still showed nothing. We turned the car of and back on and the leak stopped. There was no more leaking under the car even revved the car to put it under pressure still no leaks. So i am thinking something was cold and leaked it then got hot and expanded and stopped leaking? The side of the engine is bone drive were the belts etc are it seems to be coming from the back of the engine. And only seems to happen on cold starts? The engine was tested to see if the head was gone by using one of them rad testers were they put this thing inside the expanise tank and wait for the color to change this come back has the head being fine. After he pulled the testing thing out the water did come up and went every were he then had to refill and blead the system .
Also my front tires are touching the struts im guessing this is not normal ?I can't get my fingers inbween the strut and the wheel and the struts on both sides would this be just the tracking which is off ? To much toe in ?
