hid kit h7 rover 45

Hi guys got a hid kit for my headlights 2 wires from hid ground and live how do I connect it to the wire plume what colour wires are required to be cut? And how best to reconnect with the blocks and lots of tape , or the ringed push connectors or just lie together using itself and good old electrical tape?
